SUPPORT THE FAMILIES OF VICTIMS OF POLICE KILLINGS
HELP TO HEAL BROKEN HEARTS
MyGood, founded by Macy Gray in 2020, is an effort to bring some good to the families who have lost loved ones due to police violence. Regardless of the circumstances that end a life through contact with the police; the effect on the families is devastating - emotionally, mentally, physically and financially. MyGood is NOT an anti-police organization. We are here to do as much as we can for grieving families.
THIS IS MY GOOD
WHAT WE DO
FINANCIAL SUPPORT
In the aftermath of the death of a loved one, families are weighted with substantial debt . Parents of victims with children must often take on the responsibility of raising their grandchildren. There are funeral costs, medical bills, legal and travel expenses. Family members have been so emotionally crippled, that they were unable to return to work. With your donations, My Good lightens the load and helps them rebuild.
MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
Therapy is the number one need for these families. We connect them with a network of grief specialists; as well as, fund treatment for those who can't afford it. MyGood is also creating a community for family members in mourning, to come together weekly, on zoom to share, vent, and discuss their own initiatives. We have also partnered with
LIVING POPUPS, an interactive app, using technology to help monitor and galvanize their wellness through crisis.
ADVOCACY
The charity's ultimate goal is to ensure that laws are challenged to prevent further casualties - to put pressure on politicians to end excessive force by police. Some states have recently passed chokehold and body cam laws. My Good aims to be a force in igniting more much needed change.
GET INVOLVED

While your donations are greatly needed and appreciated, My Good welcomes YOUR advocacy - volunteer, share your ideas.
